The surgery is carried out together with meniscal surgery and, if deemed necessary, lateral extra-articular tenodesis. The femoral tunnel is drilled through the medial portal or outside-in reverse
Reconstruction of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament can often be offered as an out-patient procedure, or with an overnight stay in a luxury hospital. For optimal results you can choose our in-patient service with 2 – 3 days of initial physiotherapy. However, most ACL patients are able to be discharged home on the day of surgery.
